The vision of the faculty is to produce high quality Psychologists for the Nation and global communities; to make significant contributions to the science and practice of psychology in real-life situations; and to produce professionals with sound ethical, legal and moral values.
Since the SGT University has a major focus on health and health related disciplines, the FBS is an integral part of all the community programs run by the University in nearby villages with a special responsibility for the mental health component. It provides a good exposure to the students of real-life settings and more so, sensitivity of the needs of the rural areas, which usually remain outside the mainstream of educational and service provisions.
To achieve excellence in teaching and research through innovative methods and skills that can contribute maximally to the overall development of both faculty and students
