Dr. Rajbir Singh

Dr. Rajbir Singh is presently Professor, Faculty of Behavioral Sciences SGT University. Before joining SGT, he served as Professor of Psychology at Maharishi Dayanand University Rohtak. From 1991 to 2016. Here he had been twice Head of Department(1992-1958 and 2004-2007), Dean, Faculty of Social science(2005-2008, Prof. in charge of Central Library(2002-2003)and Dean student welfare(2003-2016). Earlier he has served as Reader upto 1991 at Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. Prof. Singh completed a UGC sponsored project of two years (2000-2001, had been coordinator of UGC’s Special Assistance Program in health Psychology for ten years from 2004-2014, and has completed a two year DST sponsored project (2015-2016). A total of 27 students completed their PhD degrees under his supervision. He is specialized in Biological Basis of Behaviour and has taught for 35 years. He has authored three books and edited four volumes in the area of health psychology, well being and research methods. He has published more than 60 research articles in various referred journals.
