Group Discussion on What Makes Us Happy
A group discussion on “What Makes Us Happy” was organized on 4th Nov. 2015, where faculty and students actively participated. The faculty and the students participated in it. The students suggested that personal satisfaction led self-centered happiness, when we link ourselves with nature (which include other living species), it gives us real happiness. Session concluded with psychological perspective on the satisfaction of human needs and its relation with happiness through the ‘Maslow’s hierarchy of needs’. This theoretical formulation was central theme of the discussion.
