Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences hosted a Special lecture series from 30 th October to 1 st November, 2023. The objective of the 30 th and 31 st event was to equip students with knowledge related to other aspects of Psychology. Further, the Special Session “Effective Ways to Raise Funds for Research” was specially organized for faculty members at SGT university under the the aegis of R&D Department on 1 st November, 2023. The speakers for the sessions were Prof. Mewa Singh, a Distinguished Professor (for life), SERB Distinguished Fellow; University of Mysore, and Distinguished visiting Professor Faculty of behavioural and Social sciences, SGT University, and Prof. Vinod Kumar, UGC-BSR Faculty Fellow, and Ex-Senior Professor Department of Zoology University of Delhi. The Vice Chancellor, SGT University Prof. O.P. Kalra, Prof. Waheeda Khan, Advisor of FBSC, and Prof. Jaswinder Singh, Executive Dean, FBSC extended a warm welcome. The event was coordinated by Dr. Farhat Jahan, Dr. Navkiran Kalsi, Dr. Vikas Sharma and Dr. Sihabuddin. Session was concluded by Dr. Atul Babbar and the formal vote of thanks was given by Associate Dean, FBS Prof. Amra Ahsan.
