Faculty of Behavioural Sciences, SGTU organized a lecture under Faculty Development Program on “Psycho-spiritual ways to deal with stress” on 30th July 2016. The speaker for the program was Mr. Pulkit Sharma, a renowned Clinical Psychologist of Delhi. He established the Imago- Centre for Self at Nehru Place, Delhi, which offers a comprehensive psychological and psychotherapeutic treatment. The program was attended by the faculty members of allied health sciences, nursing and behavioral science. Dr. Waheeda Khan, Dean, Faculty of Behavioral Science, welcomed the speaker. The program was centered on nurturing inner potential, and the importance of here and now in dealing with stress. The speaker also talked about ways to achieve inner peace by demonstrating some relaxation exercises and audience participated enthusiastically. Dr. T.D. Dogra, Pro Chancellor and Chairman FDP chaired the session and concluded by emphasizing the role of spiritual well being in daily life. The program also attended by Dr. Kamlesh Kohli, Director, Medical health sciences, Mr. T.K. Sharma, Registrar, and deans from allied health sciences, dental sciences and law. Dr. Nudrat Jahan, Assistant Professor gave the vote of thanks.
