Dr Mustafa Nadeem Kirmani, Associate Professor and Head of the M.Phil Clinical Psychology program in the Department of Clinical Psychology conducted work on MBSR for the students and faculties of Department of Clinical Psychology on 26th September 2017 from 2.00 PM to 3.45 PM in Block A first Floor room no A 005.
The workshop was conducted in a group format and the purpose of it was to teach them the skill of self-awareness, learning to be in the present and to unlearn the habitual ways of mind to react and judge themselves and others as good or bad. Dr Kirmani first briefly introduced the audience about the concept of mindfulness and demonstrates its practice. Subsequently, the session of training of MBSR took place. Following the training session, the feedback session was conducted based on the experiences of the audiences in the process of practising Mindfulness. The audience reported different sort of experiences and shared with the expert.
