Health and Harmony Week

Health and Harmony Week

From April 4th to 8th, 2023, PSYCA: the Academic Association of the Faculty of Behavioral and Social Sciences organized an impactful event called ‘Health and Harmony Week’ under the guidance of Ms. Aastha Dhingra, Dr. Nitesh Kumar Jha, and Ms. Anantika Tehlani. The event aimed to raise awareness about health issues and effective management strategies. It emphasized the availability of counseling services at the university’s Counseling Center, located in room 003 of the C-block. The event’s motto was “You will be heard, understood, and helped.”

Throughout the program, presenters addressed various medical and psychological issues such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Asthma, Hypertension, and more. Brochures were distributed to explain common psychological symptoms like irritation, depression, mood swings, insomnia, respiratory problems, and anxiety. The students actively participated in discussions, seeking clarification on their concerns and finding guidance to address their issues. This open dialogue promoted destigmatization and highlighted the importance of well-being.
